COURSE DESCRIPTION

This standalone training course (also trained as one unit of the Occupational First Aid qualification) will give you the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, in a range of situations, including in the home, workplace or within the community, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

At the end of this course students will have the knowledge of and be able to perform correct management :

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
  • Hold Current HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid (within 3 years)

  • Ability to read, write and understand English

  • Present photo I.D. on arrival

  • Complete a ‘Fitness to Complete Training’ form. The student is required to declare any medical issue that may exclude them from full participation

  • Wear normal work clothing, enclosed footwear 

TRAINING FACILITY

Training can be conducted at your work site or off-site at one of our purpose built training facilities.

Provide First Aid (One Day)

This option is suitable for workers who Have previously done First Aid Training within the last 3 years. this option involves students conducting pre course workbook in their own time prior to the course date.

The cost of this training option is $185.00/ person

The unit of competency issued at the successful completion of this training is:

  • HLTAID003 - Provide first Aid

  • HLTAID001 - Provide First Aid

 

  • HLTAID004 - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

  • HLTAID006 - Provide Advanced First Aid
